Membership Types
Institutional membership applies to degree-granting institutions in good standing with an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Dues are based on the institution’s Carnegie Classification and enrollment. Institutional Membership includes unlimited professional memberships for individuals who may use the membership benefits.

Corporate membership is available to business entities that provide goods and services within the higher education sector, consistent with UPCEA’s mission to “advance leadership in professional, continuing, and online education.” Corporate sectors include marketing, online program management, technology solutions, test prep, adult-learner solutions, etc.

Membership is available to System Offices for regionally-accredited, degree-granting college and universities.
Dues are $2,900 annually.

Affiliate is available to non-profit organizations and other entities having an interest in the activities of the Association but not otherwise eligible for institutional or corporate membership.
Annual Dues:
- Non-Profit Affiliate members are $980
- For-Profit Affiliate members are $1,470

Emeritus membership is available to retired individuals who were formerly employed by a UPCEA member institution. Stay involved and share your expertise with others.
Dues are $65 annually.
