UPCEA provides opportunities for professional members of all backgrounds and experiences to learn, grow, and connect and promote positive change at member institutions.

UPCEA is committed to serving the varied needs of individuals and institutions within the higher education community.

  • Institutional and organizational members – UPCEA’s membership committee and membership staff are committed to outreach to entities with varied missions and constituencies that share the values and goals of increasing access to higher education;
  • Professional members - UPCEA is committed to seeking input and offering opportunities that are relevant to all practitioners within professional, continuing, and online enterprises;
  • UPCEA’s leadership - Volunteers within UPCEA, including those who serve on the Board of Directors, the Networks, the Regions and in other roles, are representative of the field of professional and online education.

The UPCEA Engagement & Opportunity (EO) Committee supports professional and online education practitioners at postsecondary institutions by:

  • Welcoming members of all sectors of higher education;
  • Supporting collaborations with organizations who share UPCEA’s values and goals of increasing access to higher education;
  • Offering learning opportunities that reflect the needs of UPCEA’s community of postsecondary professionals.
