"I discovered UPCEA about 10 years ago and started attending conferences and presenting, learning immensely from the UPCEA community of scholars and leaders. When I decided to volunteer for the South Region leadership and the International Network I started maximizing the benefits of UPCEA. These smaller groups provided consistent opportunities to engage with colleagues with similar challenges, and broadened my perspectives and connections in areas which I didn’t necessarily function. My universe expanded, my list of folks to learn from grew, and I had an opportunity to amplify the impact of the work I do through these conversations and connections."
